2 (I Got You On Tape)
october's album of the month is 2 by I Got You On Tape. i enjoyed this album a lot. i'd describe 2 as a more atmospheric, guitar-heavy joy division, but it definetly has its own feel to it, with great lyricism and creative melodies and progressions. i catch myself humming nearly all of the songs off here, and it's a great listen though from an incredibly underrated band. i found them through the opening song, "Dumping The Motorheads", and listened the whole way through shortly after. the album felt like the soundtrack of an indie film or something i'd love to see set to a video.view other entries on RateYourMusic »
